Finance and IS Directorate
The Finance and IS
Directorate is responsible for the financial management and
statutory reporting for Parkinson's UK and our trading subsidiary.
This includes financial accounting, management accounting and
internal control systems for the charity and our branches.
The team is key
to supporting the charity in developing financial strategy,
providing costing and management information, analysing risk and
maximising interest and investment returns. The department ensures
compliance with relevant legislation and with regulations and
guidance from Charity Commission, HM Revenue and Customs, including
funders' requirements for accounting for restricted funds. The
directorate advises, trains and supports voluntary branch
treasurers, working closely with the Community Services
