TV soap star invites London Marathon support
29 January 2010
We are looking for enthusiastic runners to join our team in this
year's Virgin London Marathon on 25
April.
If you already have a place in the London Marathon but haven't
decided who to fundraise for, we would love you to help us.
We are looking for 30 more runners to give us a team of 200.
Famous faces
Actor Ben
Hull, who played Lewis in Hollyoaks and is currently starring in
the UK tour of comedy Dead Funny, is one of the familiar faces
running with the charity:
"I'm really excited about raising money for the Parkinson's
Disease Society and can't wait to get to the start line.
"The charity does really great work and I hope many more people
will join our team."

There is no minimum sponsorship target for open place runners.
Everyone raising funds for us will receive a free running vest to
wear in the race.
Last year, our London Marathon runners raised over
£260,000. We hope to smash that target in 2010.
If you know somebody running the marathon, ask them if they have
a designated charity. If they don't, tell them about us!
This year's marathon takes place during Parkinson's Awareness Week (19–25 April). Join
us and help tell as many people as possible about who we are and
what we do.

Our work is totally dependent on donations and your support will
help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by
Parkinson's.
