Trek Spain and make a difference in 2010
7 January 2010
If your New Year's resolutions include travelling, charity work
and getting fit, Trek Spain could be the
answer to all your resolutions in 2010.
All sponsorship raised by this trek will fund cutting edge research to find better treatments and a cure for Parkinson's.
Paul Jackson-Clark, Director of Fundraising
Join our team of trekkers on this exciting physical
challenge, from 10 to 14 June 2010, and raise vital funds to
help people affected by Parkinson's.
Breathtaking scenery
You'll trek through the stunning Sierra Nevada and feast your
eyes on breathtaking mountain scenery as you make your way towards
the charming village of Mairena.
The trek offers team members the choice of covering either 30km
or 44km over the 5 day visit.
Every step will make a difference
Paul Jackson-Clark, our Director of
Fundraising, comments:
"Trek Spain is a challenge where every step will make a
difference.
"We are totally dependent on voluntary donations and all
sponsorship raised by this trek will fund cutting edge research to
find better treatments and a cure for Parkinson's.
"Trek Spain raised over £70,000 in 2008 and we want to smash
that target in 2010."
Albert Weir, a Trek Spain 2008 team member, said:
"I returned home emotional, inspired but above all more positive
to continue to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause."
Register today
Registration for Trek Spain costs £250. Each trekker needs
to raise a minimum of £1,500 in sponsorship, which will also cover
