Minister for Care Services to be questioned on live webchat today
6 October 2009
Phil Hope, Minister of State for Care Services
(pictured right) will appear live
at 5.15pm today on webchats.tv, answering your questions about
the Government's Social Care Green Paper.
Proposals for social care reform in England
The paper, 'Shaping the
Future of Care Together', is attempting to update England's
care system for the first time since the 1940s.
A new care system should fit our 21st century needs and provide
long-term financial provision for those in care.
In 'The future of caring - know the facts',
the live and interactive webTV show brought to you by
Saga, you have the chance to submit
questions for Phil Hope MP, about some of the proposed changes
and where the future for caring lies.
Big Care Debate
The Parkinson's
Disease Society will respond to the Government's consultation - the
Big Care Debate - after surveying people affected by
Parkinson's.
