Chosen as Majestic Wine's Charity of the Year 2010

We're delighted that Majestic Wine has chosen the Parkinson's
Disease Society as Charity of the Year 2010.
Staff
at the major wine retailer voted to support our work in providing
expert information and support to people with Parkinson's and their
carers, and funding groundbreaking research to find a cure.
Fundraising partnership
Staff at Majestic Wine will organise a range of fundraising
efforts in 2010 as part of this year long partnership.
We hope to raise as much as £40,000 through the partnership in
2010.
Paul Jackson-Clark, our Director of Fundraising, said:
"We would like to thank the Majestic staff who voted for us from
the shortlist of 6 charities.
We hope to raise as much as £40,000 through the partnership in 2010.
"We are funded entirely by donations so working with Majestic
staff and customers to raise much-needed funds for the charity will
go a long way in helping us to achieve our goals in the coming
year."
