PDS shortlisted for Deloitte Charity of the Year 2010

Deloitte has announced that the Parkinson's Disease Society has
been shortlisted for the Deloitte Charity of the Year 2010.
Staff at Deloitte, a major international accountancy and
consulting firm, will be asked to vote for
their preferred charity from a shortlist. Voting opens from
today for 2 weeks, when Deloitte will select 3 winners for this
fundraising partnership.
The partnership would be an excellent fundraising
opportunity for the Parkinson's Disease Society. This year,
Deloitte's partnership with Cancer Research UK and the NSPCC raised
£1.6m, smashing their £1m fundraising target.
You can help
If you know anyone who works for Deloitte, you can help by
encouraging them to vote for the Parkinson's Disease Society. You
can also help by passing this message on to family and friends.
By doing this, you can help us raise awareness of Parkinson's
among Deloitte staff and increase our chances of being selected for
the fundraising partnership.
