Congratulations to our London Marathon runners

26 April 2010

Congratulations to our 212-strong team who ran the Virgin London Marathon yesterday.

I'm thrilled to have been a part of the Parkinson's UK team. It was an amazing experience.

Sarah Stanhope

This year we had our largest ever team of runners and it was the perfect finish to this year's Parkinson’s Awareness Week

An amazing experience

Sarah Stanhope, 41, from Bromsgrove, ran the marathon in just over 4 hours. Sarah's mother and grandmother have Parkinson's and she has raised over £3,500.

This year our London Marathon team are aiming to smash last year’s total of £260,000.

Our work is totally dependent on donations. All the money raised will go towards helping us find a cure and improving life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.

Thanks to everyone who took part
