Parkinson's Disease Society Radio 4 Appeal
15 June 2009
On Sunday 21 June 2009, journalist and presenter John Stapleton
will feature on the BBC Radio 4 Appeal supporting the
Parkinson's Disease Society.
Help us make this campaign a success by encouraging friends and family to tune in on Sunday.
John will talk about his mother's experience of
Parkinson's disease, and will explain why donations are so
important to us.
Our appeal will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 (92-95 FM)
on Sunday 21 June 2009 at 7.55am and 9.26pm.
You will also be able to hear the appeal for a week after
broadcast on www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer
John Stapleton first supported us in April 2009 when he signed
up for the Parkinson's Brain Donor Register during Parkinson's Awareness Week
John says:
"I'm very pleased to be taking part in the Radio 4 Appeal for
the Parkinson's Disease Society. I hope that many will help us make
this campaign a success by encouraging friends and family to tune
in on Sunday."
Paul Jackson-Clark, Director of Fundraising for the Parkinson's
Disease Society, says:
"John has given us fantastic support this year and we are
incredibly grateful for his help with this appeal. In difficult
financial times such as these, it's vital that we continue to
highlight the importance of charitable giving."
