Whitby High School volunteersToday marks the start of Volunteers Week 2012 and we want to say a huge thank you to all of our volunteers.

Volunteers' Week is an annual event which takes place this year on 1-7 June.

It celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK.

Up and down the country, individuals and organisations will hold events to celebrate the contribution of volunteers and inspire others to take part.

Supporting people affected by Parkinson's

We couldn't do our work supporting people affected by Parkinson's without the support of our network of dedicated volunteers.

From cake sales to committee members, from sponsored walks to placing a collection tin - it all helps with our mission to reach out to everyone affected by Parkinson's.

Volunteers' Week is an annual event which takes place on 1-7 June.

Vital commitment and support

Parkinson's UK volunteers give their time, skills, experience and passion to help deliver the work of the organisation and support people living with Parkinson's.

Your commitment and support is appreciated, valued and vital to helping us achieve our vision. Thank you so much everyone for volunteering!
