On Monday 4 June 2012, Muhammad Ali's daughter, Rasheda Ali, will attend a gala dinner event to help raise awareness of Parkinson's.

Taking place in central Manchester, the evening will include an auction and raffle to help raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

Ali was the legend everybody knew him to be

Muhammad Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson's aged just 42. His daughter, Rasheda, now travels all over the world to help improve understanding of the condition and give encouragement and hope to families living with Parkinson's.

"My purpose for travelling is to help local organisations raise insight and funds for their programmes - and specifically to help local families suffering with Parkinson's," she said.

Everyone who knows Muhammad Ali knows how facing the daily challenge of Parkinson's has been the other big fight of his life.
