The Parkinson at the Medical Journalists' Association's Summer

Our
membership magazine, The Parkinson, has
been recognised at an awards ceremony.
The Parkinson's Editor, Bev Howard, was commended in the
category 'Excellence in Journalistic Skills' at the
Medical Journalists' Association's (MJA) summer awards.
Bev was commended for 3 articles, which have featured in
recent editions.
The latest issue of The Parkinson is due out on Monday (23 July
2012).
About the awards
The MJA Awards celebrate excellence in medical journalism across
all types of media and are held twice a year.
The articles from The Parkinson, which Bev was commended for,
were:
Supporting people affected by Parkinson's
It's a privilege to help people affected by Parkinson's share their experiences and simultaneously raise awareness of the issues that affect people with Parkinson's.
