In memory of Basil D'Oliveira

On Friday (27 January) there will be a thanksgiving service at Worcester Cathedral for the cricket legend Basil D'Oliveira.

It is very generous of the D'Oliviera family to to support us in this way.

Mr D'Oliveira had Parkinson's for many years and died in November last year.

In his memory, the D'Oliveira family have generously set up a JustGiving page where well-wishers can make donations to Parkinson's UK.

There will also be in memoriam cards available at the cathedral for people who wish to make a donation on the day.

The service is open to the public and starts at 2.30pm.
