Good luck to our Swansea Pedal for Parkinson's cyclists

On Sunday 8 July, our fantastic team of 111 cyclists will be
saddling up as they prepare to take on our 5, 20 and 60-mile

instead. It gives them a real boost to hear vocal support along the

I want to raise as much as I can to help fund Parkinson's nurses, by taking part in the event.
Nigel Jones, who has Parkinson's
Nigel Jones, 58, from Neath is just 1 of our riders gearing
up for the 60-mile ride. Nigel, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's in January this year, explains:
"When I was diagnosed with Parkinson's it was a shock to me, and
I now know first-hand how devastating the condition can be.
"I want to raise as much as I can to help fund Parkinson's nurses, by taking part in the
event. I'm also looking forward to meeting like-minded people who
share a common cause."
Paul Jackson-Clark, our Fundraising Director, said:
"Taking part in a cycling event is a fantastic and fun way to
raise vital funds to support our work. I'd like to wish all of our
dedicated cyclists the best of luck and hope that the
elements - and their saddles - are kind to them."
