Getting Parkinson's medication on time: complete our survey

27 July 2012

We're looking for views from people with Parkinson's and their families and carers about getting Parkinson's medication on time when in hospital or a care home.

We want to hear about your experiences - good or bad.

The deadline for completing the survey is 31 August.

As part of our Get It On Time campaign, we want to hear about people's experiences - good and bad - to make sure everyone with Parkinson's gets their medication on time, every time.

Complete the survey: Getting Parkinson's medication on time

If people with Parkinson's don't get their medication on time, their ability to manage their symptoms may be lost.

Tell us your views

If you have Parkinson's and have had recent experience (within the last 5 years) of being in hospital or a care home, please complete the survey.

We're also keen to hear from carers or close family members of people with Parkinson's who have spent time in hospitals or care homes.

We launched Get It On Time to make sure the thousands of people with Parkinson's admitted into hospitals or care homes every year get their medication on time.

But we know there are still improvements to be made and that many people with Parkinson's don't get their medication when they need it.

About the survey

Get It On Time sticky noteThe survey takes around 20-30 minutes to complete and you can remain completely anonymous if you want to.

If you're happy for us to get in touch with you about your answers, however, please leave your details at the end of the survey.

The deadline for completing the survey is 5pm on Friday 31 August 2012.

How we'll use the results

We will use the results of the survey to help inform our work around Get It On Time.

We can learn from those organisations who are doing a good job at helping their patients and residents get their medication on time.

And we'll use the negative experiences to help us tailor the campaign to address the specific issues that people affected by Parkinson's are facing.
