Share your Parkinson's UK photos
If you and your friends have taken part in an event or
activity to support Parkinson's UK why not share your
photos?
We've set up a group on flickr - a photo
sharing website - so we can bring together pictures from our
supporters around the UK.
All supporters - members, friends and families, local groups,
professionals, staff and fundraisers are invited to add their own
photos showing how they are raising awareness of Parkinson's and
supporting Parkinson's UK.
You can find the photo group at www.flickr.com/groups/parkinsonsuk
Adding your photos to the group
To upload photos of your own and to comment on any of the
pictures:
- Go to our Group page at www.flickr.com/groups/parkinsonsuk
- Select the option Join the Group
- Sign up for a free Yahoo account (if you already have one you
can sign in straight away) then you can start uploading your own
photos
- Be sure to label your photos with a title and
description
- For each photo you want to add to the group, select
Actions from the menu above the photo and then
Add to a group from the drop down list. Then
choose the group name Supporting Parkinson's UK
Note that new flickr users need to upload a minimum of 5 photos
before the account is fully enabled. It usually takes a few days
for flickr to approve new user accounts and for photos to appear on
the group page.
Photos uploaded to this group will be visible to the general
public. Therefore please ensure you have the permission of anyone
who may be identifiable from your photo(s) before you upload them
to the group.
